Today I made an extreme effort to take a step back and enjoy the simplest joys of life.
*Listening to my niece talk about elephants pooping at the zoo in the car ride
*Playing scrabble with my sister on our phones....across the room from each other
*Smelling fall in the air and truly appreciating the PNW
*Talking to my husband and knowing how much I am loved
*Watching my dog chase her tail in the living room while everyone watches in silence
*Getting phone calls from good friends just to see how your day is going
God has blessed me with so much and I am thankful for all the gifts I have been given!
